GoPhotoBooks.com

On Demand Machinery recently installed a complete case binding system at GOphotobooks.com, an ‘on-demand’ photo printing facility in Fremont, California.

On Demand Machinery recently installed the ODM Super Sewer™ (in-line sewing), Casemaking System™, Sticker™ (casing-in), Smasher™ (building-in), and Separator™ (die cutting) machines for GOphotobooks.com, an online ‘on-demand’ photo-finishing specialist located in Fremont, California.

GOphotobooks.com is dedicated to helping customers tell their story. They work hard to make it easy for people to transform their personal photos and disks full of digital memories into tangible objects that can be shared with friends and family. GOphotobooks.com love this work, because by combining the best of modern printing methods and easy to use internet technologies with traditional design aesthetics and hand-crafted quality, they empower their customers to create something amazing: an actual hard cover photo book about the things they care about the most.

GOphotobooks.com had in mind that they could leave the world a little bit better than they found it. They have set out to give back to their communities. They are reaching to groups who are doing what needs to be done; much needed research to cure diseases, supporting those who are in need, lending a hand to the less fortunate, promoting equality and funding vital school and sports programs. The list is endless and so is their outreach. They believe this to be their mission and they will accomplish it one book at a time.

They have invested years developing the most advanced, yet easy to use software on the market, they want your experience in building a book, calendar, or any other one of their products to be the best you have ever had. They stand behind their products and they believe you will too.

Rich Weaver and Allen Blazick, print industry professionals, who have the knowledge of the past, but look to the future for new technology and innovation, founded GOphototbooks.com. This is the first of many state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and it’s located in Fremont, California in the heart of Silicon Valley. Each book is personally inspected for quality and craftsmanship before they send it home for their customers to treasure or give as a gift. While so many companies are outsourcing to foreign countries, GOphototbooks.com is proud to produce their products in the USA.

GOphototbooks.com has partnered with On Demand Machinery (ODM) and Xerox; to create the finest photo books in the industry while using all FSC certified papers in their process.

“When we founded GOphotobooks we wanted the best of the best and after reviewing many systems none could compare with ODM and the service provided by John Jacobson, Jr. and his team. We know by sewing every book and using his solution we are delivering the best in the industry.”  Rich Weaver, CEO and Founder

GOphotobooks.com wants to hear from you, and if you share their passion, they hope you will join them in this journey. Together we can, GO make a difference.

Momento Pro

On Demand Machinery installs first Super Sewer™ XXL at Momento Pro.

Momento Pro, Australia’s leading professional quality photo book producer has upgraded their bindery department with the world’s first installation of the ODM Super Sewer™ XXL.

Momento Pro produced hard back; case-bound photo books in the traditional manner using a sewing machine to side sew book blocks prior to drawing on the cover. The sewing process was done on an ODM Super Sewer™. Since the launching of a new wide-format photo book meant the book had to be sewn by hand using a paper drill and a manual sewing machine. After consulting with Kevin Dyras of Currie Group, ODM’s Australian based distributor, the decision was made to install the Super Sewer™ XXL.

Working closely with Momento Pro, ODM designed and developed the XXL machine, which was installed in November 2011. A few modifications were made after the installation to accommodate some unique photo paper stocks. The speed and accuracy of the Super Sewer™ XXL has exceeded expectations. Needless to say, the original Super Sewer™ has not been used since Christmas. Momento Pro has been taking advantage of the larger format producing both A3 landscape and portrait formats up to 1” (25 mm) thick. Prior to installation of the XXL, these books would have been drilled and sewn by hand.

“Our target market is the professional photographer and discerning ‘prosumer’.

We strive for the highest possible quality product and guarantee 100% satisfaction to our clients.” states Geoff Hunt the Managing Director of Momento Pro.
